3hrs of non-stop action

last night was my first night playing at starbucks. a bunch of my friends came out for support and some even requested some songs (justin timberlake's like i love you, and damien rice's volcano). i played a mix of cover songs and a few of my originals. it was a lot of fun and i look forward to playing there in a couple of weeks.

it was more physically draining than i thought it would be. i was aching by the end of the night.

everyone was very complementary of the music which always makes you feel good. i was going to finish the night with stay by dave matthews but then i saw one the baristas enjoying the music and decided i'd do one last song...closing time. they loved it and thought it was really funny.

they said that business was up with me playing so it looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship. :)
